Early Valentine!

I think I was resting my hand on something weird for that "adventures" at the very end.

Also, diorama comic!

Tea rex Enjoys a Good Cuppa

Tonight I was drinking tea pretending to be a dinosaur.

I may be the coolest thing since the last glacial age.

Romance Isn't Dead

Robots and dinosaurs are a love story waiting to happen. When SciFi starts doing romances, I want this to be one of them.

He'll Never Know of Our Love

It's true. I can't send him any message to tell him how wonderful I think he is, despite the fact that we're within 35 miles of each other. It makes me...heartbroken.

If you know this man, please tell him I'm here and waiting to be saved from a velociraptor-y fate.

That IS Exactly What Hipster Dinos Would Be Like

This brilliance is what I've been looking at all week. It's been hot and miserable (I slept downstairs last night, because the AC is better there) and I haven't drawn much.

But I have been looking at that at least once a day, and cracking up all over again.

Oddly enough, this makes two consecutive dinosaur posts.

I may or may not be doing a series of "sea creatures with facial hair" coloring pages after an amazing idea from someone I know...

Tet's New Robotic Dinosaur

That last dinosaur was riddled with anatomical mistakes and no fancy photoshop coloring. Not so any more, my friends! The new one even comes with an accurate scale bar! The height of fashion among all the super-hero paleontologists, this robotic Daspletosaurus sp. could be your sweet new ride for 6 low minimum payments of $999,999.99(USD).

Call now and we'll include a free army of genetically engineered hamsters*! Call in the next five minutes and we'll double your hamster order and even give you a dozen cultures of mechanical baby sand dollars!

Call now for a deal you can't afford to miss! The robotic Daspletosaurus sp., the double army of hamsters and 12 cultures of mechanical plutei**! That's a $5 million in savings, but this deal won't last long!

*Hamsters have been genetically engineered for cuteness and lasers. Some international restrictions may apply.
**Plutei offered are diagonally asymetric but may wander in the morphospace.

(Sorry about the length of this post, I really got into that sales pitch.)

Mad Scientist or Super Hero: Does It Matter?

The answer is no, it doesn't matter.

Tonight's comic is dedicated to the only male student in my class (of ten students). In real life he's even more amazing than his fictional character (Dr. Mastadon, despite the fact that he works with dinosaurs, not mammals) and he did breed an army of hamsters.

Basically, this is an inside joke that I put on the internets because I don't want to slave over a hot tablet tonight. Call me lazy.

I Wish I Had More Lucid Dreams

Pterodactyls in my dreams would be pretty sweet, I think.

In the meantime, I must sleep at some point tonight so it might as well be now.

Here's hoping for blue skies and lots of weightlessness. I love flying dreams.

I'm hoping there are no more comic delays like I had last week, but one can never tell.

Nomming Friendships

I have a couple of friends with whom I have nomming relationships (sometimes having friend noms is important) but Kupcake is already world famous (she's on stamps, for Darwin's sake!), so I drew it with her.

It's not really a nom, anyways. More like a nibble with mild gumming.

If you've never tried it before, I find it excessively comforting.

P.S. I'm thinking about making a dinosaur shirt.
P.P.S. God I'm a weirdo.

Actually, I'm a Five-Year-Old Boy in Other Ways as Well...

...like attention span, fondness for dinosaurs, fascination with all bodily functions--the list just goes on and on!

I thought of this today as I was walking around with my coat on. I should also mention that I always carry a hankie in my coat pockets, and unlisted current residents include: a pair of refrigerator magnets (~1 year), a stack of quarters and a free pen I got at Student Financial Services.

I like to have pockets like Chuck E. Cheese grab-bags because it makes walking around during winter with my hands in my pockets at least mildly entertaining.

A Line from a Song I Like

It's a lyric I am trying to live by, but when I wrote it out in my journal, I drew this little dinosaur buddy below it and it reminded me of a friend who is terrified of dinosaurs and Fraggle Rock.

So, here's to you.
