They'd Be Like Azalea Bushes!!

I tell this to my dad every time he goes for a haircut, and every time he gets them trimmed. Blast-from-the-past brought to you by The Rocket Scandal.

Happy Monday!

They're Adorable

These guys have been my favorite ever since I was little. And their family name is Armidillidiidae?! Awesome! How could you not love them? I stop a lot on hikes when I find them, which usually bugs** (oh the pun, it is so good) my hiking partners a lot.

**These are not true bugs (those're hexapods); they're isopods, which makes me love them even more.

He'll Never Know of Our Love

It's true. I can't send him any message to tell him how wonderful I think he is, despite the fact that we're within 35 miles of each other. It makes me...heartbroken.

If you know this man, please tell him I'm here and waiting to be saved from a velociraptor-y fate.

Science Loves

This does really happen to me. I have been known to get misty-eyed if I think about the beauty of the periodic table for too long. I wish I was kidding.

That said, I wanted to do a comic about science and my love of it. I've included the periodic table, a eukaryotic cell, the symbol for Reynolds numbers, and three of my all-time science heroes plus a stick figure of another.

Top: Madame Marie Curie
Middle: Middle-aged Charles Darwin
Bottom left: Rosalind Franklin (if you don't know her, I demand you go look up her wikipedia page immediately.)

And, obviously, Octopod-Adventures style Einstein.
