I'm trying to reset the good ol' internal clock tonight, and I know if I start a drawing it's going to be another four or six hours before I go to sleep (I don't know why this is, but I can guarantee it).
So, instead, go check out one of the comics on the links header or curse me, whichever will occupy your time/make you feel better.

Jama-Star-Wars-Giving
JSWG went off without a hitch! The roast chicken I made (and there might not be anything funnier than an ex-vegetarian preparing his/her first roast chicken) was delicious.
Unfortunately while making chicken stock with the bones I burnt my right hand (AKA my doodlin' hand) on the oven heating coil. It's not a bad burn by any means and it's not large, but it hurt like the dickens. So instead of drawing for you my awesome chicken-roasting adventure, I sat watching the original Star Wars trilogy with cool damp paper towels on my hand all night.
In other news, there will be lots of sales going on all day tomorrow on Zazzle, so if you've had your eye on something in the store, now's the time! www.zazzle.com/octopodadventures*

No Post But Go See This Movie
Instead of drawing a comic tonight, I had a Sharktopus showing/costume party with some friends. For those not in the know, this movie involves a genetically engineered half-shark, half-octopus monster. It is all win.
The movie is awesome on levels I have a hard time trying to describe, in a terrible way (what other way could it be with a trailer like that?) and I highly recommend watching it.

It's Friday, So Good News
It's Friday and I'm takin' the night off.
However, I know some of you might feel bereft in the internets without an update (hah.) so I'm going to leave you with something awesome.
The Moment After is a blog about the drinking escapades of a young woman who "leads a fairy-tale life, attending glittering balls and wearing beautiful gowns." Okay, that quotation is a total lie and it's from the blurb on the back of the romance novel I just read.
Anyways, if you enjoy a) alcohol, b) adventures, and c) sarcasm and fine wit, you'll probably enjoy The Moment After. Go check it out.
