Besties (For Now)

For the first time in my entire life, I understand and enjoy something in math.

So, here I am skipping along with the indefinite integral and calculus bear.

Next week is my calc final, and I understand almost everything we've done pretty well, but I do have to review related rates.  Sigh.

SIck People: Stop Infecting the Rest of Us

The girl who sits behind me in calculus is regularly a mouth breather, I think, but she keeps coming to class sick and it's really starting to bother me.

Anyways, hope your weekend goes well, I'm off to finish homework.

Gangsta Street Movements I Can Get Behind

Although perhaps this might only be a gangsta street movement around MIT, UC Berkeley, CalTech, etc.

Still, a notion I really like. You have to understand the concept of i, the imaginary number. It is sometimes called "irrational" as well.

Someone I know said something to this effect (direct quote: "ban sqrt(-1). Keep it real.") and I don't know if he was the first or what, but I love it.

P.S. Wireless internet is back at my house thanks to my brother's painstaking efforts (and perhaps I should mention incredible patience) helping me set up the new Time Capsule over the phone. So special thanks to mah broseph, 'Bert. (I'm pretty sure he hates it when I call him that, but this way I won't give the whole internets his secret identity.)

May I Introduce Calculus Bear

This sums up tonight for me. It's a cheap shot drawing, but what can I say? You all knew I wasn't classy.

Anyways, wish me luck.

Calculus Class Today (=phalewhale)

Yea...I should mention here that I'm pretty certain Calculus I is going to hand my my keister on a shiny, silver platter.

Up side: as my brain melts and slowly drips from my ear canals onto my sweatshirt, it makes interesting patterns.
