This is actually the first draft of a piece that I'm thinking of putting into my portfolio for "drawing science good" grad school. I drew it on a recent visit to the Shedd Aquarium this winter.
If I had to give it a comic title though, it's be "Hang in there."

Octopus Suckers
Tomorrow I am going to the Shedd Aquarium! Yay!
Anyways, in prep, tonight I was doing drawings of suckers from photos online. They look a little weird/abstract until you know what they are, but my skill for "realistic" leaves a bit to be desired here.

Chances are Good You're a Nerd
Sketchily drawn, but a comic at last! Tonight I went to an event at the Shedd aquarium with my good amiga, Spazzerina. And I did proclaim several things to be my "favorite (insert marine biology nerd thing here)".
It was a great evening and now I'm going to bed, which I'm super excited for!

Chondrichthyes are actually sharks and other cartilaginous fish-type-thingers, so not inverts, but they're still my fave chordates.
