Although perhaps this might only be a gangsta street movement around MIT, UC Berkeley, CalTech, etc.Still, a notion I really like. You have to understand the concept of i, the imaginary number. It is sometimes called "irrational" as well.
Someone I know said something to this effect (direct quote: "ban sqrt(-1). Keep it real.") and I don't know if he was the first or what, but I love it.

P.S. Wireless internet is back at my house thanks to my brother's painstaking efforts (and perhaps I should mention incredible patience) helping me set up the new Time Capsule over the phone.
